ABOUT CBPP
CBPP is a nonpartisan research and policy institute. We pursue federal and state policies designed both to reduce poverty and inequality and to restore fiscal responsibility in equitable and effective ways. We apply our deep expertise in programs and policies that help low-income people, in order to help inform debates and achieve better policy and program outcomes.
We work directly with state, county and local program administrators to increase access to programs that help people meet their basic needs and to provide program recipients with access to high quality work opportunities that will improve their short and long-term outcomes. This project and the Center's broader work on Executive Function was funded by the Annie E Casey Foundation. A key component of this effort was the development of a flexible framework — Goal, Plan, Do, Review/Revise — that programs can use to better integrate executive function principles and concepts into existing programs. ABOUT GLP
GLP is a small, women-owned business that supports organizations and individuals to effectively assess, design, facilitate and evaluate learning. We envision a world where deep learning drives our collective well-being.
Recently, GLP partnered on the development of Goal, Plan, Do, Review/Revise (GPDR/R) learning materials, including both a manual for frontline staff and a self-guided virtual course. We also co-produced materials for CalWORKs 2.0, including an Evidence-to-Practice learning package. Along our journey, we became increasingly aware of the need for a “one stop shop” where staff could easily access the array of materials on EF Skills and goal achievement. To that end, we co-created this website with CBPP, and hope that you find it extremely useful! |
This site is the product of a collaboration between Center on Budget & Policy Priorities (CBPP) and Global Learning Partners (GLP), made possible through support from the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
